Complaints
How to raise a concern with Chambers, and your right to refer a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman.
How to Complain to Chambers
Chambers of SQ is committed to providing a high quality service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service you have received, please let Chambers know so the matter can be addressed.
If you wish to complain, please contact Sharmeen Quadri directly in writing, by email to info@chambers-of-sq.co.uk, setting out the details of your complaint. Your complaint will be considered carefully and you will be kept informed of its progress.
If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, or has not been dealt with within eight weeks, you may refer your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman.

Regulatory Information
Sharmeen Quadri is regulated by the Bar Standards Board.
You can view her entry, including her practising status and disciplinary record, on the official register.
Not a Client of Chambers?
The Legal Ombudsman can only look into complaints from Chambers’ own clients. If you are not a client — for example a member of the public or another party to a case — and have a concern about Sharmeen Quadri’s professional conduct, you can report it directly to the Bar Standards Board.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
The Legal Ombudsman is the designated Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity for complaints about legal services in England and Wales. Chambers of SQ participates in this scheme: if your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction through Chambers’ own complaints procedure, you are able to refer it to the Legal Ombudsman free of charge, using the details above.
Alternative Format
Our price, service and complaints information is available in an alternative format upon request. Please contact Chambers if you require assistance accessing this information.
